At the Ohio Justice & Policy Center, we are proud to have partnered with the City of Cincinnati on our Second Chance program for the past 20 years to help people with criminal records remove barriers – enabling them to obtain and retain employment, find safe, stable housing, pursue an education, acquire professional licensing and positively participate in their communities.
Well we need your help now.
We’re asking you to commit a few key moments of your time to help us.
Our Second Chance program has been a winner in part because the City of Cincinnati has been our partner. Right now, we are facing a financial blow to our Second Chance program because the city is considering not helping with our funding as they have in the past.
What can you do?
A lot.
Would you please email City Council members at this email address – CityCouncil@cincinnati-oh.gov – and ask them to continue helping to fund our Second Chance program.
Let them know that everyone deserves a Second Chance.
Tell them this is a wise investment in jobs, housing, education and our community.
