Angela Larsen

Angela Larsen (she/her) is an Equal Justice Works Fellow with OJPC. As part of the Human Rights in Prison project, she represents people who are in incarcerated to secure their constitutional rights and seek redress for abuses, ultimately with the goal of achieving systemic to change to make Ohio’s prisons, safe, humane, and rehabilitative. She also works with the Beyond Guilt project to seek freedom for incarcerated individuals subject to excessive sentences. Angela earned her B.A., summa cum laude, at the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Before and during law school, she was a law clerk to prolific Cincinnati civil rights attorney Al Gerhardstein. She attended Columbia Law School, where she was a Racial and Social Justice Fellow, a staffer for A Jailhouse Lawyers’ Manual, an intern with Prisoners’ Legal Services of New York, and a student attorney with Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. She received her J.D. in May 2024 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in October 2024.
