Sculpture

This sculpture was given to Tyra by her brother Robert while she was incarcerated. It is representative of the chains of injustice and the shattered lives the system creates. Upon Tyra’s return home, both she and Robert threw the statue over a bridge in Dayton to symbolize her freedom and to break free from the chains. This is documented in Tyra’s film “I Am Free” to be released in 2027.
